We are getting excited about our first tournament! The weather forecast looks good, but it will be warm in the afternoon (high of 89 degrees). We will send any information we get about schedules and locations through email and post it on social media as soon as we get it so be on the lookout! First and most important, if you haven't filled out the tournament waiver, please do so ASAP. Waiver Link
We love to make this a family event and encourage everyone to bring their chair and a tent/canopy if you have one. We like to create a "tent city" where everyone can enjoy their time together between games. We did ask for volunteers to bring a tent/canopy, but hopefully, this will sort itself out and we will have plenty of families that will be willing to share their shade We will send out the location of our Crossfire tent as soon as we secure one on Friday afternoon. Please see the map below with where we will try to set up.
We have four full teams and have created a sign-up genius for food to be shared by all of the families. Anything that is left over will be stored and brought to the next tournament. If you see anything that you think we missed or if we didn’t ask for enough, please feel free to text or email Megan Huss and she will get that fixed. All suggestions are welcome and appreciated! (678-978-1804) You can also contact Dana Augur who is a parent of a player and is also on our admin team and would be happy to answer any questions as well. If you have any pics that would be great for a social media post along with any scores, please text them to her over the weekend. (770-315-3376)
We do not have sets of water bottles to take to the sidelines for the games so please make sure your son knows he needs to fill his own water bottle prior to heading over to the field. If anyone has a set of water bottles and would like to be the “hydration manager” for your team, I am sure the boys and the coaches would be very appreciative!
Suggestions and tips…
We will do our best to set up in the area near the yellow rectangle on the map above. We will send an update as soon as we have secured a location. They will have food and vending onsite: Johnny’s Pizza, Chillatte coffee, shaved ice, refreshments, GOAT USA, Equipment and Official event apparel will all be at the VENDOR area marked on the map.
TOURNAMENT CHANGE!
Unfortunately the tournament in Charlotte did not put our teams in the right divisions so our three high school teams would have been playing each other and we decided against that option. We have switched to the Atlanta Southern open in Peachtree City. Fortunately, it is the same weekend as the tournament in Charlotte there will not be a date change! We have typically done this one in the past and it’s been a great one.
We greatly apologize for any inconvenience this causes you if you booked a room. Hopefully you can cancel free of charge with over a months notice and this will save everyone a lot of money on travel expenses! We will be researching hotel options for those that are interested in staying closer to the fields. The other two (Nashville and Gainesville) will proceed as planned.

For middle school parents…
If you have any connections with your school’s PTSA board, we would be appreciative if you could help us get the word out about evaluations by submitting an image and some text to be posted on their FaceBook pages. If you can help us out with this, please email Coach Legge at legge.crossfire@gmail.com.
We have done some research and found the hotels listed below are the closest ones to our field locations. We love for our families to try to stay at the same hotels because it makes it a lot more fun for everyone during your down time. The Nashville tournament is Father’s Day weekend and they don’t have the option to secure a block of rooms so we highly recommend getting that one booked as soon as possible so they don’t get booked up! We are researching hotel options for Peachtree City for those that are interested.
