Crossfire Lacrosse was founded in 2011 and primarily serves the West Cobb and Paulding counties of North Georgia. Crossfire Lacrosse was founded by two former Dl championship players from Syracuse University- Kirk Pratt and Mark Stopher. Kirk was a starting Midfielder and Mark was a two-time All-American Defenseman. Under their direction, they are focused on ensuring a "great experience” for all participating families and players.
Crossfire is now owned and operated by Tony Legge. He has been with the Crossfire program for many years and is excited to continue with the Crossfire traditions while starting some new ones moving forward!
At Crossfire, our mission continues to be to provide the highest quality lacrosse experience in a positive, cost efficient, competitive environment. Through our exceptional coaching, we focus on developing our players to their maximum potential, while promoting sportsmanship, and honoring the sport of Lacrosse.
We commit ourselves to professionalism, good communication and organization with all of our parents and players. We love the sport and the opportunity to help the sport of lacrosse grow by improving the skills and Lax IQ of all of our players.
We welcome the opportunity to invest in players from all of the surrounding public and private schools as well as players who are home or hybrid-schooled. Crossfire believes there is tremendous player development opportunities when they compete and play with other quality players from different schools and they are coached by other experienced and quality coaches from other teams and areas.
Our Crossfire Fall Program will consist of two tournaments. There is one in November and one in December. You have the option to play in one or both tournaments depending on your family's availability. We will practice two times per week beginning after fall break. Each team's practice schedule will be determined by field availability and fall school activities.
Our Crossfire Summer Program generally consists of 3 tournaments. We will play one tournament in Georgia and two travel tournaments that are both within driving distance. All three tournaments will be during May and June. Some teams may choose to play a fourth tournament in July. That decision will be made at the beginning of the summer season. We practice two times per week with the times depending on field and coach availability.
